STAFF ENGINEERS to support the WELLS TEAM.

The Staff Engineer?s duties and responsibilities are as follows:
? Provide HSE (Health Safety & Environment) leadership during planning and execution of operations, lead well testing HAZOP (Hazard & Operability Study) meetings.
? Manage contractor service delivery and provide regular performance updates.
? Ensure learning is transferred with BP via established knowledge management channels.
? Input to well AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) estimates and review cost performance against activities on a per well basis.
? Apply Beyond the Best principles to well operations (technical limits).
? Train and mentor junior staff to build skills in basic Well intervention practices.
? Capture of lessons learned during operations and ensures that procedures/programmes are amended as appropriate, in conjunction with supervisors and service companies.
? Develop appropriate tools, methodologies and processes, working closely with related functions and common process teams, to enable effective communication, engagement and delivery across the organization.
