May perform one or more of the following:
Functional Description:
· Oversees SURS unit performing program integrity activities
· Develops procedures for medical reviews and case management; focus on quality
· Demonstrates leadership with operational teams (SURS, provider audits, provider profiling, recipient audits, medical review, appeals, fraud and abuse detection, fair hearings, prior authorization)
· Develops and maintains procedure manuals; meets quality objectives
· Establishes training program for department and providers; develops proficiency in J-SURS
· Participates in corporate training as required
· Analyzes client needs and makes recommendations for additional services or process improvements
· Analyzes workflows and assignments to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations; develops and implements process and service improvements; demonstrates resource management skills
· Monitors and corrects contract performance on service level agreements
· Builds organizational relationships; works collaboratively with management team to ensure optimal fiscal agent operations
· Other duties as assigned
Education and Typical Years Experience
· Strong analytical skill
· Medicaid claims background
· Experience in building/maintaining customer relationships
· Demonstrated success in managing team of professionals in health care field
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
