<BR>Job Description:<BR><BR> AUDITOR & SUPERVISOR<BR><BR>CDI ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS HAS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION TO BE LOCATED AT OUR CLIENT SITE IN ANCHORAGE, ALASKA. <BR><BR>Auditor & Supervisor <BR><BR>Responsibilities <BR>. Train and mentor contract audit team; <BR>. Quality assurance and quality control of contract audit briefs, audit reports and management findings; <BR>. Prepare annual risk ranking Matrix of contract spend and the preliminary audit schedule for management approval; <BR>. Assist in establishment of yearly audit schedule and performance metrics for audit team. <BR>. Develop and analyze reports intended to identify potential savings opportunities <BR>. Facilitate or assist in audit entrance and exit meetings. <BR>. Performance reporting on all on-going audit efforts to management; <BR>. Interface with client for common process requirements, reporting and CAPTool conformance; <BR>. Analyze complex contracts; understanding each contract's terms, conditions, and intent. <BR>. Analyze category spend trends and processes <BR>. Recommends contract changes based on observable needs; <BR>. Higher level ad-hoc projects and analysis as assigned; <BR>. Assist in invoice review and contract compliance related training development and delivery <BR>. Develops recommendation report for pre-payment compliance reviews for management; <BR>. Setup audits in the standard tool for tracking audit progress and results; <BR>Contributes to the continuous effort to improve operations and streamline work processes <BR><BR>Experience & Knowledge <BR>Knowledge of: <BR>. Microsoft Excel; Intermediate to advanced expertise of spreadsheets, pivot tables and lookup functions <BR>. Microsoft Word; Intermediate expertise required <BR>. Microsoft PowerPoint; Intermediate expertise required <BR>. Strong IT Skills in general; data bases, query tools, Visio, Access and any other tool which would facilitate scheduling and testing data with greater accuracy and speed. <BR>. General knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the oil industry. <BR>. In depth knowledge of work and work practices within the oil industry. <BR>. Principles and practices of research, analysis and report preparation <BR>. Principles & procedures of financial record-keeping and reporting <BR><BR>Ability to: <BR>Comprehend and make inferences from written material. <BR>. Determine compliance with contract requirements. <BR>. Produce clear and concise reports with thorough backup to audit findings. <BR>. Develop spreadsheets that arithmetically demonstrate audit findings and support audit exceptions. <BR>. Specify corrective methods to resolve compliance problems both orally and in writing. <BR>. Ability to filter through significant detail and provide business deliverables. <BR>. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. <BR>Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all those contacted in the course of work <BR><BR>. Some audit work may require occasional trips to the field locations. <BR>. Audit work is done almost exclusively in the BP offices; minimal work done off-site. <BR>. BA or BS in Accounting and 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area <BR>.
