<BR>Job Description:<BR><BR> PIPELINE DATA ANALYST<BR><BR>CDI ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION TO BE LOCATED AT OUR CLIENT SITE IN ANCHORAGE. <BR><BR>Pipeline Data Analyst <BR><BR>The role focuses on pipeline engineering data, including gathering, validating, documenting, analyzing, and providing it to end-users. The role supports the Pipeline Technical Authority (PTA) primarily for activities including risk assessments and regulatory reporting. Also manage the engineering data for the Global Information System (GIS) within the PODS database. Part of this effort is consolidating our pipeline data within BPXA as a whole to improve accuracy and consistency. <BR>Responsibilities <BR>. QA/QC of engineering and other pipeline data for the GIS and the PODS database <BR>. Analyze and provide input on the best structure for storing pipeline engineering data <BR>. Represent the PTA in working with the GIS team <BR>. Maintain pipeline engineering data for the GIS <BR>. Analyze and design business processes to ensure that pipeline data from changes in the field is documented <BR>. Work with other groups to define formatting and standards for data attributes to increase the consistency of data <BR>. Provide data analysis for the PTA team in support of various activities <BR>. Populate pipeline screening tools and risk models with the pipeline engineering data required <BR>. Create cross-references that connect related data sources to improve the flow of information <BR>. Support data extraction from PODS to new DRAS risk assessment tool <BR><BR>Deliverables <BR>. Pipeline engineering data queries for regulatory reporting <BR>. Input on GIS functionality for the PTA team <BR>. Integrated pipeline engineering data into GIS/PODS <BR>. Cross-references between data sources <BR>. Populated pipeline screening and risk assessment models <BR>.
