<BR>Job Description:<BR><BR> CDI ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION TO BE LOCATED AT OUR CLIENT SITE IN ANCHORAGE, ALASKA. <BR><BR>Cost Engineer Opening: <BR><BR>Plans and Procedures <BR>. Develop the Project Services and Controls strategy, plans and procedures for cost control, reflecting both BP and Contractor roles and responsibilities <BR>. Adheres to the segment financial, business and project processes <BR>Cost <BR>. Ensure the development of the appropriate budgets, implement, and monitor costs within a project stage and for the entire project until closeout/completion. <BR>. Ensure proper documentation is provided for each request for funding (AFE) <BR>. Ensure backup is provided from vendors for monthly WIP reports and provide guidance to Project Leads for proper LE forecasting. <BR>Estimates <BR>. Ensure the development of estimates and studies within a project stage in coordination with both internal and external Cost Estimators. <BR>. Coordinate preparation of Cost Risk Analysis <BR><BR>Risk Management <BR>. Develop and implement Risk management procedures for project costs, and budgets <BR>. Coordinate the development of Risk mitigation plans as they relate to cost engineering <BR>. Link Risk, schedule and Change control processes to Cost Reports <BR><BR>Experience & Knowledge <BR>. BSc or higher degree with a minimum of 8 years applicable experience, emphasis on Finance <BR>. Previous work on client projects - Essential <BR>. Familiarity with client specific Cost Engineering processes and procedures <BR>. Minimum 10 years experience in Oil and Gas industry <BR>. Major Projects planning and execution, experience with CVP (MPCP), brown-field projects experience, well and facilities operations experience <BR>. High regard for HSSE principals <BR>. Experience in a Research and Development project <BR>. Knowledge of and experience relating to Heavy Oil surface facilities <BR>. Able to communicate effectively with Project team members to ensure depletion, surface facilities and technology business objectives are met in a dynamic setting with evolving understanding of the resource <BR>. Ability to work well with third parties, especially contractors and partners with various disciplines <BR>.
