<BR>Job Description:<BR><BR> SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER<BR><BR>CDI ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION TO BE LOCATED AT OUR CLIENT SITE ON NORTH SLOPE, ALASKA. <BR><BR>The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and reporting on the project plan and performance. <BR>Responsibilities <BR>The duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows: <BR>. Assist in developing the program integrated schedule consistent with client projects. <BR>. Develop and manage detailed schedules covering activities through to the start of execution. <BR>. Manage and support planning activities of the contractors chosen to execute the program of work <BR>. Ensure that schedule learning from complementary work in other Business units and external companies are identified and appropriately utilized <BR>. Assist in developing the schedule process, system and procedures to support the program. <BR>. Assess potential contractors' and vendors' schedule capabilities. <BR>. Provide assurance that the contractors' schedule systems interface with client and progress measurement is effective and consistent. <BR>. Promote collaborative information sharing with team members and contractors. <BR>Experience & Knowledge <BR>To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following qualifications: <BR>. Solid broad-based experience in both define and execute phases on projects, a clear track record of delivery and a willingness and ability to work with all disciplines <BR>. Well developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and contractors <BR>. Good communications skills <BR>. Well developed support/knowledge management networks <BR>. Understanding of current schedule best practices and familiarity with Primavera P3/P3ec <BR>. Excellent teamwork skills, including the ability to work with various sub-teams to resolve issues and reach decisions that are in the best interest of the program <BR>Preferred Qualifications <BR>In addition to the required qualifications, the successful applicant is likely to be able to demonstrate the following: <BR>. Experience working with subsea contractors <BR>Any Other Relevant Information <BR>Minimum BA/BS and 5 years equivalent experience or AA and 7 years equivalent experience may be substituted. Database administration experience preferred. NSTC required.
